A few hundred thousand Ukrainians who have immigrated legally to the United States with TPS status, are working legally and contributing to our economy and contributing to our workforce are about to lose their legal work permits. They are here legally but they will no longer be allowed to work legally as of October 19th. I believe the Trump administration plays these games, because obviously these people need to work in order to stay in the United States and if they can't work, it forces them to leave or take cash paying jobs that do not benefit our system. These people are paying taxes and paying into a system they will not benefit from. They do not qualify for Medicaid, SNAP or Social Security and yet they work and contribute to our these programs and our economy. Ask the companies that depend on these employees how they feel. This is wrong and it is hurting America.
