There’s something special about looking back at where this all started.

Woods was one of the original atōst flavors we launched back in 2020. At the time, we were making every bottle in our original Colorado facility, building this family brand from scratch and really having no idea where it would take us.

Woods quickly became one of customer favorites. Orange, dark cherry, warm spice and oak. It felt different, and somehow it always felt very atōst.

A lot has happened since then. We’ve moved back home, grown our family, rebuilt parts of the business, made plenty of mistakes, and learned more than we ever could have imagined. But we’ve never forgotten about Woods.

With its return, we found ourselves going through old photos from those first few years, and it brought back a lot of memories.

So we thought we’d share a few.

Some releases mean a little more to us.

Woods was one of the original flavors we created when we first launched atōst. From the beginning, it was also one of your favorites. The bottle people would ask us about, come back for, and tell us they missed when it was gone.

And truthfully, we missed it too.

As atōst has evolved over the last few years, we had a small amount of Woods quietly resting in whiskey barrels. What started as part of an earlier chapter of the brand became something completely different with time.

More than three years later, we knew we had to share them.

The fruit and botanicals had softened and deepened. Fresh orange and dark cherry were still there, but now layered with toasted oak, molasses, vanilla and that unmistakable warmth from years spent in whiskey barrels. Richer, darker and more contemplative than the original Woods, but still very much the flavor we fell in love with years ago.

So rather than recreate it, we decided to bottle this moment exactly as it is.

Woods is back, one time only.

A limited allotment from these barrels, released as a celebration of one of our original flavors, how far atōst has come, and the people who have been with us along the way.

Building this company has taken us places we never could have predicted when we started. Through every version of atōst, the support from our customers, friends, family, bartenders and retailers has kept us going.

This bottle feels like a small piece of that history.

We hope you open it with people you love, pour it over a big cube, and enjoy something that quite literally took years to make.
