Cavaletti Vineyards produces world-class wines that are grown right here in Ventura County. We are the only winery dedicated exlusively to vineyards in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties and our wines have been awarded over three dozen scores over 90 points since opening our doors in 2020 . Cavaletti has been featured in Decanter, the Los Angeles Times, the London Times, Wine Enthusiast, United Hemispheres Magazine, and SommTV. We welcome guests into our no-frills urban winery for tastings, glasses, and bottle sales on Fridays from 4-8, Saturdays and Sundays from 12-6 and during the week by appointment. Children, dogs, and outside food are welcome.

We are thrilled to share the latest reviews of our 2024 Solitude Grenache. International W**e Report🍷 gave it 93 points, while W**e Enthusiast scored it 92 and awarded it an Editor’s Choice designation. We had a conviction that Grenache would be great in Ventura County, but there wasn’t any available when we started, so all three vineyards had to be planted and farmed by us to bring this idea into existence. The resulting w**e is a transparent expression of terroir. 100% Grenache aged for 22 months in neutral puncheons before bottling. No new oak. No blending. Racked once before bottling. Sage, rosemary, and orange peel notes complement blackberry, marionberry, and dried strawberry on the palate. Woodrow Wilson was President when the Lopez Vineyard was planted in 1918. The organically certified, own-rooted, bush vines in the Cucamonga Valley have spent more than 100 years growing without irrigation in deep sand. The world has changed around them but they’ve kept on going. Each vine produces only one or two tiny clusters each season. The result is concentrated raspberry and kirsch flavors layered with rosemary, sarsaparilla, and crushed nutmeg notes. Grown and produced in Southern California. International W**e Report - 92 pts.

Community is what w**e is all about. Nobody is more important to the Cavaletti Vineyards community than Sam Cummings. Sam grew up on High Street and remembers walking to school through the empty lot on Poindexter where the w**ery now sits. His hand-crafted w**es are made at Cavaletti and are laser beam focused on expressing Ventura County terroir. Tonight he is taking over the w**ery.
