Olivia actually started with us as a bar back before she was even 21, and now she’s back behind the bar — which makes this one extra special to us 🤍

“My favorite is Stella Rosa Black. It’s very, very sweet, basically tastes like juice.”

Something that may surprise you:
“I’m pretty frequent at the karaoke machine, which surprises some people.”

A woman who inspires me and why:
“A woman who inspires me is Florence Nightingale. She was the founder of modern nursing.”

Current goal:
“My goal is to be a great medical assistant!”

What I love most about hospitality:
“I love talking to customers and bantering back and forth. Especially regulars, getting to know them and their lives.”

What I want guests to know:
“I love musical theater.”

Something that may surprise you: She lived in New York for a year!

A woman who inspires her: Her mom — for the way she deeply cares for others and works hard every single day. Desi hopes to carry that same passion and strength in her own life.

Current goal: Discovering what she’s truly passionate about career-wise and working hard to turn that into her dream.

What she loves most about hospitality: Learning about the winemaking process and meeting all the amazing people who walk through our doors.

What she wants guests to know: She genuinely cares about every single guest who comes in and always strives to make sure you have the best experience possible.

There are moments in life when the wine, the music, the laughter… all get very quiet.

Right now our family is walking through one of those moments.

Our beautiful Paula — Luigi’s mom — is 86 years old and is bravely battling pancreatic cancer. She is truly one of the sweetest, most loving, God-fearing women I have ever known. The kind of woman who puts everyone else first. The kind who prays for others even when she’s the one who needs prayer.

When we made our Grenache Blanc and named it Paula, it was simply to honor her. We never imagined how many people would come to love that wine… or how many hearts she would quietly touch through it.

Today we are humbly asking our wine family for something deeply personal.
If you are the praying type, would you please say a prayer for Paula.
And if prayer isn’t your thing… but you’ve ever enjoyed her wine, shared a bottle with someone you love, or smiled while drinking it — we would still be so grateful if you would lift her up in your own way.

This is a hard season for our family. But we believe in faith. We believe in prayer. We believe in love. And we believe in the strength of community.

This Women’s History Month, we are celebrating the women who have helped shape our winery’s story.

We’re starting with someone very special to us — our daughter, our longest-standing team member, and one of the original hands that helped bring this winery to life.

She has quite literally grown alongside this business, and we are so proud of the woman she has become.

✨ Meet Savannah ✨

Role: Winetender
She has been part of the winery on and off since the very beginning.

Favorite Wine: ‘Weeg’ Sauvignon Blanc or ‘Savannah’ Pinot Noir 😉

Something that may surprise you: I am an EMT and currently in school to become a paramedic. I also love video games 🤓

A woman who inspires her: My mom — When she wants something, she goes and gets it! She is kind and shows the love of Christ to people around her everyday. I strive to be like her in that way

Current goal: Becoming a paramedic and one day a flight paramedic.

What she loves most about working at LSW and hospitality: The variety of stories I get to hear daily and the wonderful people I meet along the way.

What she wants guests to know: i genuinely love hearing your stories and chatting with members/guests. Don’t be shy! I also loves sharing the inspiring story of Lucas Sellers and the meaning behind every wine and label — just ask!
