Family Strong
Ripley Family Farm is a seven generation farm established in 1896. The Ripley farm you see today is started by Roland and Patricia Ripley. The picture you see above includes both Roland and Patricia with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren totaling 59. The farm is run by Roland, his sons Tom and Dan, and grandsons Seth and Kyle.
The first Guernsey arrived on the farm in 1945. We have slowly added Guernseys over the years as we have seen the importance of highly nutritious milk. Another added benefit of the Guernseys is their A2 protein milk. Many in our own family have difficulties with dairy products, but we found that 100% A2 protein milk solved these problems. We decided to have our Guernseys DNA tested to know which cows had this A2 protein so we would be sure to have 100% A2 protein milk. One thing led to another and now we want to share this milk with others. A milk with great taste, but also a milk that many once thought they could never drink again but now are able to.
Family is important to us, both the people and the lineage of our Guernseys. With God at the center of our family we have been able to build our farm and start this venture to bring our Guernsey milk to you. During the summer months you can find us at county and state fairs showing off our Guernseys and talking to people like you about our cows and their milk.
