It’s the first day of the Homer Regional Farmer’s Market!! It’s cold and rainy outside but we’re having fun visiting with everybody inside today. Since you can’t do yard work today come on down and grab some goodies for your Memorial Day weekend!

Not the post I wanted to make. We have enjoyed being able to supply our local community with dairy products and baked goods sold from our farm stand. We’ve heard from many of you that you greatly appreciate it as well. But apparently not everybody knows how to work an honor system. We had been noticing inconsistencies and this past week kept very meticulous records to find hundreds of dollars worth of products had left the stand without being paid for. In one week only 35% of the products were paid for!! We’ll be combing through camera footage to see if we can find the culprits but if you have any information that would be helpful to us we would greatly appreciate your help. We don’t want to close the doors for good but if this doesn’t stop that’s what we’ll be doing. Don’t let a couple bad apples ruin it for everybody. If you’ve noticed something please let us know.
