The growth pattern with these mushrooms caught my eye today. Here's a blue oyster cluster displaying a beautiful formation similar to that of rose petals, or even one that reflects the Fibonacci sequence (I kid, mostly).

When you top fruit oysters, they usually produce well rounded and balanced clusters like shown. This one in particular just had a certain something about it, though.

It stood out with an unusual spiral of tiny fruits in the center. It appeared stumpier and smaller yet somehow, this little fella come out weighing significantly more than all its "siblings." Overall, it's just a fine specimen, and now its off with a customer to be used in a Hungarian mushroom soup.

It may not appear much different at first glance, but when your second home is a grow tent, you catch on to these little nuances and sometimes have to just stop and appreciate them.

We want to give a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Harvest Festival, you all nearly cleaned us out. It was a pleasure chatting about mushrooms all weekend and after a brief moment of rest, grow kits are stocked back up again.

📢🍄 Some announcements:

-This is the last of the pink oysters for the year. Even though we grow indoors, it's still too cool for them to grow as we like. They will return next spring.

-Market season is coming to an end but we grow year round, so fresh mushrooms and everything else will be available for pick-up throughout the cold months. Dried mushrooms and cultivation supplies are always avaliable for shipping.

-Announcements will be made regarding some winter events and where else you can find our product. Working on getting some things on shelves and and in other areas as we scale up.

-You can find our booth at the Morehead Harvest Festival 2024 all this weekend.

-Thank you for your continued support. It's been a fantastic summer and we couldn't do it without you :)
