EmmaLily Vineyards was named after our two daughters. We are a small family micro-boutique winery, making small lot Cabernet Sauvignon, Meritage and Cabernet Franc wines. We are located in Morgan Hill, CA. Our wines are hand crafted in separate fermentation bins. We use different yeasts to enhance flavors highlighting the beginning, middle and end of the wine experience. We extend the fermentation

for 22-30 days past complete sugar conversion to alcohol. This technique is called extended maceration and creates a nice mouth feel and assists in integrating the tannins. We use new and used French oak barrels with different toasts and aged separately between 30-34 months, blending back the same fruit into the final product prior to bottling. This allows us to produce brilliant deep color, fresh and rich beginning highlighting the fruit, layered and full bodied middle and big round finish that continues showing the complexity long after the wine is gone. Sixty five to Eighty percent of our wine is bottled in large format bottles, 9L, 3L, and 1.5L, with the remaining in 750 ml bottles.
