Located in the Cross Timbers of Palo Pinto County, Bear Creek Ranch is 1400 acres dedicated to whitetail deer operation.

Bear Creek Ranch is part of the Coalson Acres Ranches located northwest of Weatherford, Texas, specializing in farm and ranch real estate, cutting horses, and commercial cattle. Bear Creek Ranch is part of Coalson Ranches located in Southern Palo Pinto County near Patillo, Texas, where the primary goal is the production of large antlered whitetail deer for stocking ranches and elite hunting. 04, high fencing was established to surround 1000 acres of the ranch with the goals of maintaining the habitat and improving the native genetics by the use of Deer Management Pens (DMP). Mesquite removal, selective brush sculpting, native grass/forbs restoration and the creation of specific food plots have contributed to a flourishing habitat and wildlife environment. Bear Creek itself weaves through the pecan trees in the center of the ranch where turkey come to roost and deer browse through the rich bottom land. Bear Creek Ranch is a reflection of our passion for the whitetail deer of Texas and all wildlife in general. Much has gone into establishing this beautiful ranch over the years. We encourage you to visit and hope you will enjoy the ranch as much as we do. We are dedicated to raising high quality whitetails for the breeder, rancher, and sportsman. Our program focuses on the doe and we have purchased our herd does from some of the elite Deer Breeders in Texas such as, Lone Hollow, Rick Jones, Chris Timmons, Robert Williams and Leo Hicks. In 2007 we implemented an artificial insemination program. This process enables us to raise the genetic potential of herd. We've built a first class breeding barn which was constructed for ease of use and safety for the animals and handlers. In 2007 we also implemented a bottle raising program to compliment our AI program. Bottle raising the doe fawns has brought the stress level down in our doe herd. These does are calm in the facility and walking among them in the pens during daily inspections makes it easier to manage their health. We offer quality breeder bucks, bred and open does, stocker bucks, and semen for sale. All deer at Bear Creek Ranch are certified and registered with the North American Deer Registry.
