Hey everyone! I realized today I haven't officially introduced myself on this page! I'm Laci Rose, the face behind the Charcuterie Boards you see here. I'm first and foremost mom to these 4 sweet kiddos, and wife to this handsome guy next to me. I started making Charcuterie Boards during the Pandemic in 2020. It was fun, creative, and I loved impressing my friends and family members with my salami roses๐Ÿ˜œ. Soon people started asking me to make them for birthdays and holidays and soon after that (with some encouragement from my husband) Rustic Rose Charcuterie was born! I never anticipated that I would EVER own a little business. My degree is in Elementary Education and though I've been a stay at home mom for a long time, I always considered myself a teacher and I look forward to teaching when my kids are all in school. But this little business has been very fulfilling, and I've enjoyed learning new things, meeting new people, and taking charge of the creative aspects that go into making my boards and boxes. It's been a fun little adventure and I've learned so much! So, today I encourage you to try something new! Stretch yourself, learn new skills, and dive into something that scares you a little. You just might find you're capable of more than you ever thought. Thanks for being here and supporting me on this journey!

Last weekend was FILLED with Charcuterie. Rustic Rose Charcuterie hosted our first Boarding School! (I'll do another post about that.) And this beautiful board went out as well. Fall is in full swing here and I'm here for it! These cute Maple Leaf cookies added the perfect fall touch to this board.

First Boarding School in the books! ๐Ÿ˜œ My family and friends came to my first class tonight and we had so much fun! I taught them how to do a cheese river, tricks for cutting cheese using a cheese knife, how to garnish using fresh herbs, and of course how to make a salami rose. What a fun girl's night! Happy Birthday Platter for Him!โค๏ธ To make this board less girly I opted for a salami river instead of my go to salami rose. And I kept the garnish simple by using rosemary and thyme. Personally I LOVE the simplicity! FYI I will add a Happy Birthday topper or a Congratulations topper to any Picnic Box or Platter for free! DM me with questions/prices about our birthday package!

The cheese I used on this platter were some classic favorites, brie, aged cheddar, honey lemon wesleyandale, and Manchego. I used soft salami, chorizo, and prosciutto for the meat and honey fig jam as the spread. A cracker variety come on the side in a small, brown picnic box.
