We continue to honor our new inductees to the United Community Bank UCHS Athletic Hall of Fame! Today, we feature Paula Everhart!

Paula Everhart stands as a 1982 graduate of the Union County educational system, where her early years were marked by both academic excellence and athletic achievement. A multi‑sport athlete, she participated in track & field and basketball for Union County Schools, while also engaging in softball, volleyball, and baseball within her community. Paula made local history as the first female to play Little League baseball in Union County, breaking barriers and setting a precedent for future generations of young women in sports.

Throughout her youth and early adulthood, Paula continued to excel athletically, playing children’s, adult women’s, and co‑ed softball, as well as community volleyball. Academically, she graduated with honors from Union County High School. Her exceptional talent in track and field led her to multiple state‑level appearances, including earning a state championship title during her high school career.

Paula attended Western Kentucky University on a track and field scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Work (1986). She later advanced her education at the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work, completing her Master of Science in Social Work (1998). Following her graduate studies, Paula became licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Social Work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), establishing her professional standing as a highly trained and credentialed clinician.

Across the span of her clinical career, Paula has served numerous communities throughout Central Kentucky, working within community‑based mental and behavioral health systems. Her dedication, compassion, and clinical excellence have earned her multiple professional honors. Paula is also the founder of Everhart‑Harmon Counseling Services, a private practice serving multiple communities with high‑quality therapeutic interventions rooted in clinical skill, cultural awareness, and compassionate care.

Beyond her professional achievements, Paula’s life reflects deep commitment to family. She has been married for 35 years and is the proud mother of three sons—one a professional MMA boxer known as “Crazy Eyes,” who is also an author, and twins who make up the country music duo “The Kentucky Gentlemen.” Paula Everhart’s legacy is one of perseverance, leadership, service, and trailblazing impact. Her contributions to athletics, education, mental health, and community well‑being exemplify the spirit of this honor. It is with great respect and admiration that we induct Paula Everhart.

Congratulations!
