Our Mama Hen exhibited the technique of foraging for nourishment to her 12 chicks this afternoon.

Mama Hens have natural skills that equips them to give their chicks the best start in life. Along with providing warmth and safeguarding to their chicks, Mama Hens educates their chicks on discerning what is nutritious to eat and what not to eat. Additionally, she guides them towards hydration, rest, exploration, roosting, and danger recognition.

They cluster outside the hive in a phenomenon known as 'bearding,' which enhances ventilation inside the hive and maintains optimal temperature and humidity levels for proper brood development and nectar evaporation. Bees are truly remarkable! 🍯🐝
