We have two good looking 15 month old open Black Hereford heifers for private treaty. Please see comment under each heifer for details. Both are registered. A breed seek was done and they came back clean and can be transferred but they do have KT in their pedigree.

We have three 15 month old bulls for private treaty. Please see comment under each bull for details. All three have had the approved herd sire test and were free and approved. However, we did a breed seek and 11N came back with more than 15% Simmental so his registration can’t be transferred (no KT pedigree). He will be sold as commercial. 4N and 10N were clear on their breed seek. So they can be transferred but do have KT in their pedigree. BSE was also done on all three and all three passed.
We have had 4 inches of rain so they are a-little muddy, but with more rain in forecast it’s pointless to clean them up.

Just called NEOGEN about a breed seek we received. Was told they have a contract with ABHA that they can’t discuss results on registered cattle. So let me get this straight. I pay for a breed seek to be done through the ABHA on my cattle and when the results come back and they don’t make any sense. The company that did the breed seek analysis can’t discuss that with me the person who paid and owns the cattle. Make that make sense too me. Looks like the ABHA has a lot of explaining to do. I have been patiently waiting on word from the other results that come in that were absolutely crazy and was told that they were gonna meet with Neogen and I’ve heard nothing. This is ridiculous.
