JANA Do Farm - Produce and More Raising the 8th generation on the family farm. We've diversified our operation over the years to include cow/calf beef, poultry and bees.

We decided to take some family time away from the farm today so a sweet friend of ours covered the store so we could take the kids to the Reading Public Museum to see the butterfly exhibit and catch a show at the planetarium. Highly recommend!

And the day wouldn't have been complete without ice cream! We checked out Sweet Ride Ice Cream, LLC and boy, did we make the right decision! Such a fun place and the ice cream was amazing!

Today we mowed and "tedded out" our 3rd cutting of hay! This process helps to spread out the hay and increase the surface area for quicker drying! We're hoping to bale this on Saturday!

If someone were to make an air freshener for farmers it would be freshly mowed hay!

Fun fact... didn't you know if a farmer mows his hay it increases the chances of rain by 40%?😁 JK
