Reaper is practicing his balancing skills. Pretty sure he’ll do anything for a treat from me.

Hope & Joy’s skills are increasing as they gain experience with each other. Watch Joy learning to tuck her legs away from teeth.

Next dog to share is CH Rising Phoenix Mor Atlayan. You’ve seen Atlayan in a lot of my posts. She’ll be 9 next month. She was my first Bred By Exhibitor champion (meaning she got all her champion points from the bred by exhibitor classes). She is a granddaughter of my foundation b@tch Sans. Atlayan’s mother was Adalet (who passed away a little over a year ago) and her dad was GCH Lucky Hit DivaKiz Rondo from a frozen AI litter.
Atlayan is an amazing girl. I only bred her once (the twin girls I have now are her grandchildren). She can be with any animal on this farm. She’s a fierce protector and not likely to make immediate friends with you but if she accepts you then you’ve made a lifelong acquaintance with her. She’s very attached to me and mostly stays around the house now and protects me and the cats and goes wherever I go. Most of my longtime followers will remember her jumping days - hence her name meaning Jumper in Turkish. Here’s a few of my favorite pics through the years.

Maybe she should learn not to nurse from the back

Reaper is 8 months old! Checking in a 155 pounds at his weight check tonight (one day shy of official 8 month day. I had planned to make a nice video of him but these videobombs from Hope & Joy were too cute to cut out.

I decided it time to return to my roots - which is horses. Yes I have 4 already but they are all over 20 now and I want to ride more again instead of mostly looking at them. She’s been called Cookie for her barn name but she needs a new name. What’s your thoughts?

Throwback post from 2018! If you ever wondered how smart these dogs are - Namus demonstrates that he knows that chain keeps the gate from opening and he’ll try hard to figure it out.

I should note - that both of these girls have their AKC champion status. They are well aware of the human comforts because I would try to keep them clean on show weekends. So it’s no surprise that they want inside when the weather is icky. My non-show dogs have no idea what they are missing as they usually refuse to cross the threshold of the house.
