The Kentucky Wool Festival may happen just one weekend each fall, but its impact on our community reaches far beyond those three days.
Each year, the Festival partners with local schools, churches, civic organizations, athletic teams and community groups to help make the Festival possible. Instead of simply hiring outside help for many of these jobs, local organizations are given the opportunity to **earn money for their programs by working at the Festival.**

**Various other Pendleton County organizations, businesses, food vendors and craft vendors also use the Festival as an opportunity to raise funds, generate income and showcase what they have to offer.**
But the economic impact doesn't stop at the Festival gates....
With thousands of visitors coming to Pendleton County for the weekend, local restaurants, gas stations, stores and other businesses also benefit from the increased traffic the Festival brings to our community.
And the Festival's investment in our young people doesn't stop there.
