🍅 👀 Looking for local tomatoes fresh from the garden and packed with flavor? Great news! We've got you covered, courtesy of Irene Anderson. Small containers are just $1.50, and large are just $3! Can't beat that deal, and by buying local, you're supporting our store and local food producers and helping to strengthen the local food web.

Phase two of our alleyway renovation project is officially underway! As we were building the Pomme de Terrace a couple summers ago, we started dreaming about how to best utilize the rest of the alleyway.

We thought it might be a good place for a rain garden, and the Stevens County Soil and Water Conservation District agreed with us! They're working with us and a handful of volunteers along with Morning Sky Greenery to make the project happen this fall. Keep an eye on the space in the coming months as a rain collection basin gets dug out, native plants get dug in, and the whole space gets transformed with a walking path right to the terrace!

Cucumbers out of control!? We feel you. Show them who's boss by canning them with a bunch of pickling spices! They can't possibly keep getting bigger if you trap them in jars, and they'll end up delicious.

We're freshly stocked on pickling spices, both mild and spicy blends, and individual ingredients like mustard seed, peppercorns, allspice, chili flakes and cinnamon sticks.

It's (always) a great day to shop local! We're now carrying 🥚 duck eggs courtesy of DK Acres near Clinton, 🥬 hand-washed lettuce from Bees and Greens in Benson, 🫜 a great variety of freshly dug produce from Bright Gardens in Cyrus, and a wide selection of 🌿 herbs from Bald Eagle Farm in Starbuck! If you're out at the Farmers Market today, we're staying open until 6 just for you! Swing by and continue supporting your local food web, and grab a cold drink to beat the heat!

Shop local AND reduce waste, AND save money because you're not paying for the packaging? Seems like buying bulk might be the way to go! Thanks for the shout out, West Central Initiative! Looks like we're in good company with other regional businesses, too.

Introducing two new Redhead Creamery products at PdT:

Little Lucy Blue - This soft-ripened beauty blends the rich, buttery texture of brie with the bold, savory punch of blue cheese for a flavor that’s both elegant and unexpected.

North Fork Munster - For those who like a cheese with attitude, this French-style munster is washed in local Minnesota 14 Whiskey from Panther Distillery, giving it a bold, briny edge and a perfectly pungent funk. Over time, the center gets creamier, the flavor deeper, and the rind beautifully wild. Mold on the rind? Totally normal - slice off the top and scoop out the good stuff. Best served at room temp for maximum ooze and attitude.

And, if you haven’t tried them yet, don’t forget our other new Redhead products: drinkable yogurt, and unhomogenized creamline milk in returnable glass bottles.

Back in stock!

Strong demand quickly depleted our initial supplies, but Redhead Creamery creamline milk and drinkable yogurt are back in stock! We have a new batch of their nice, squeaky cheese curds, too.

Check it out! We're testing the waters for demand on Bald Eagle Farms products, grown and packed just down the road in Starbuck. We're carefully currating items that don't directly compete with other local produce we already sell, and we've got almost their whole line of fresh herbs 🌿 , along with their spring mix lettuce 🥬. Like all good produce, it does have a shelf life though, swing by in the next week or two and help us decide if we should order more!

Great news bread lovers (loafers?)! Thanks to some help from our community, we're now able to return to weekly deliveries of fresh Falls Bakery bread. You can expect it every Thursday afternoon (including today, like...right now!), although the exact timing may vary since it's being picked up and driven to us from Fergus Falls. You can always call us to check in if you're making a trip specifically for bread, we'd rather answer questions in advance than have you arrive early and potentially be disappointed.

Also, because we've had some folks ask, as we learn more about Full Circle Farm's future production plans now that their brick-and-mortar shop is open in Starbuck, we'll adjust our plans accordingly based on availability and community preferences.

Every time we talk about the Redhead Creamery products that we stock, the response is loud and clear: Ya'll love them! We hear you, and we've expanded our offerings from them, including half gallons of Grade A Pasteurized milk and drinkable yogurt(!!!), along with a fully stocked shelf of their cheeses, including curds!

We took these photos over the weekend, and since then we've already sold out of the drinkable yogurt, but we'll be getting more early next month and we'll be sure to let you know when that happens.
