Use these the same as a garlic bulb. Add to soups, chop up to add to salads, sautee with vegetables, roast with meat, make garlic butter, etc.....

They also freeze well, for use later!

Meghan made these tasty garlic scape rings l.y. & hoping she makes again soon! Just twist scapes into a ring, dip into seasoned batter or egg & fine seasoned bread crumbs, fry in olive oil or your preferred cooking oil until golden brown, then put onto a paper towel to catch excess oil, cool, & enjoy!

🌸Peony🌸 Availabilty Update & how they will be used

After the Peony Bloom Bar at Keg Grove Thursday evening, then fulfilling several orders, I accessed the peony inventory yesterday.

There are currently:

🌸36 long stemmed Pink & wine colored $3 / stem
🌸10 yellow $4 / stem
🌸50 short stemmed 2 for $5 (perfect for bud vases)

Please text Maggie at 815-325-1770 to order remaining peonies by the stem or in a bouquet. They are kept in the flower cooler to remain as fresh & long lasting as possible for you!

Some of the opened peonies have had the petals removed for drying. These will be used for Peony sachets, added to the floral confetti for bridal tosses, or packaged in bulk for Peony petal toss.

Other opened peonies will be made into Peony jelly or hung for drying along with peonies still in bud stage. Dried peonies hold their color beautifully & remain fragrant. These will be used for dried wreaths, arrangements, floral art workshops, & wreath workshops.

The Peony BLOOM Bar at Keg Grove Brewing Company - Morris was a hit last night!

Thank you to all who attended & enjoyed creating gorgeous & fragrant Peony bouquets! Also, a big thank you to Keg Grove & their staff for hosting this fun event!

We look forward to coordinating with Keg Grove for future events!

The Peony Party in May was so fun with these groups! We wandered through the farm & u-picked a variety of foliage, filler flowers, & peonies, then made beautiful arrangements in the green house, learned about planting, growing, harvesting, preserving, & various ways to use peonies!
