Whew!!! Got her! Hello your majesty! Time to call the girls into their new home! Day 2 was a success! Now we let the rest find their new home and come pick it up tomorrow after sunset!

Definitely a learning experience! Fingers crossed the ladies like their new home! Check back with y’all ladies Friday!

💀 Well unfortunately this beautiful hive didn't survive.

📚So why not take this opportunity to educate you guys on the why.

🌳This hive started out in that tree in the first picture, unfortunately due to the fall, the queen,and a bunch of juvenile queens and other bee's along with brood (babies) died on impact.

We suspect that they remade another queen but this fence line had recently been sprayed with INSECTICIDE. 💀😬🥴😵‍💫😷

Not pictured is a ton of dead bee's and the most recently dead queen that some bee's where still balling up to protect 😪

Being on the ground and an open hive they where easily susceptible to wax moths and hive beetles. BOTH of which did infest this comb on closer inspection when we got them home.

So between the other bugs invading and the insecticide tainting the comb only a handful survived a few extra days.
