We had a tree company called us to rescue a hive they found in the trunk of a tree they cut down. The very brave owner, cut the trunk in a few spots and was able to maneuver the tree so it split over easily and the hive was exposed perfectly! We found the queen right away and was able to capture all of the bees! Next step is to get them through the winter!

We are offering a Beginner Bee Class on Tuesday 10/8 and Tuesday 10/15 from 7PM to 8:30 PM at the Madison High School.
Learn everything you need to know about starting a bee Hive. Steve Johnson and Jerry Stanley have been working with bees for over 10 years and bring knowledge and fun to our class!

Honey Bee's need water to keep the hive cool when temperatures start going up! We have a stream and hundreds of bee's will be in this pool collecting water all day. Inside a honey bee hive the temperatures will be around 93 degrees F, the bees will spread the drops of water around the hive and then fan to evaporate the water which collects the heat then they fan it out of the hive. They will also collect water from swimming pools, welcome mats after rain and anywhere that water collects!

We have plenty of Brood and Honey Supers and frames in stock along with many other items! Right now we have overstock on 1 gallon feeders just $10 and helmet and veil for $25 until stock is gone! We are located at the Candy Store of Harding in Harding Township!
