Good Morning Friends 🥹

I Just wanted to finally give y’all a little update on what’s going on and how we are working to figuring out what the next step for us is. This was never something I seen coming after almost 5 years of hard work 😓

On Monday this week, I received a voicemail that literally made me drop my phone. (Posted below from their son!!)

There was also a consistent lack of communication from our landlord, which made an already difficult situation even harder to navigate. Out of respect, we are choosing not to mention names—but we feel it’s important to be honest about our experience.

They are evicting us from our building after being here going on 5 years… we was told we have 30 days to pack up our shop and to find a new location.. just like that.. and since Monday, since the voicemail, I’ve been left in the dark.

I have also paid rent here since 2022 and none of the renovations I needed were ever taken care of, the upstairs has a rodent issue, they raised our rent and still didn’t do any renovations.

This is my life yall, this is my career, if yall know me personally you have seen the hard work and love and passion I’ve put into making this place what it is. It’s all I have.😭 How can someone just rip that away and not even care they did it ? And for what?!

I can’t even go in and do what I love because I know i gotta pack the place up 😭
I’m at a loss for words 💔
