Shimmering Pond Farm Alpacas & Friends Farm Welcome to Shimmering Pond Farm Alpacas. We are nestled on a sunny hill side in Vermont overlooking our lovely pond and views of the green mountains.

We are a hands-on small farm, committed to the well-being of our herd and providing them with great care. In addition to our alpacas, we also have 2 goats, 2 sheep and several chickens. We both love helping animals in need. Over the years we have either rescued, fostered or adopted dogs with special needs, former mill dogs, senior pups. They receive love, comfort and a soft place to land and bloss

om. We currently have 4 bulldogs, one was rescued from a mass. shelter and is spay incontinent, 2 have spina bifida , 1 Frenchie with a spine injury. 3 Pugs, 1 is a hemivertebrae, 1 lost his eyes and another that is high anxiety. We love them all as if we've had them forever. Of course we can't forget the kitties...what farm would be complete without a few good mousers. Each and every day is a new & joyous adventure.
