Epic water balloon finish to our end-of-camp field games! It will be so quiet without our amazing and hilarious campers everywhere. They are such a blessing to the farm and we look forward to seeing them at the camp reunion in October 💜💜 We wish them all the very best!!

Today In Fallsington History:
August 15th, 1919 marked the birth of Samuel Moon Snipes. Sam was a long time member of HFI's board of trustees and the Falls Friends Meeting, and was raised at Snipes Farm & Education Center. His mother, Jane Moon Snipes, was a founding member of HFI in 1953 and sold the Gambrel Roof house to us back in 1969.

An attorney, peace activist and historian, Sam is perhaps best remembered as the attorney who helped William and Daisy Myers break redlining and become the first African American homeowners in Levittown in 1957. When an angry mob formed outside the Myers' home and local police refused to intervene, Sam personally stood on their front lawn and held back the crowd until the County Sheriff arrived.

Sam passed away at the end of 2018, at the age 99, but his memory and the contributions he made to our community live on strongly to this day.

💛 🥕Staff Appreciation Post 💛🐓

As we wrap up another unforgettable summer at Snipes Farm Day Camp, we want to give the biggest THANK YOU to our incredible staff! 🌻🌿

We had many hot summer days, rainy adventures, dancing fun, silly songs, creek explorations, cooking projects, animal care, and everything in between! Our amazing Staff showed up every week with patience, energy, creativity, and so much positivity!

Our campers will especially remember the counselors and staff who made them feel welcomed, encouraged, safe, and part of our farm family. 🌱

We cannot believe tomorrow is our last day of SUMMER CAMP 2026! 🐐🌻💚

We hope to see you all at Camp reunion! October 9th!

🥹🌻 Our last week of Farm Camp is here…

It’s hard to believe another summer is already coming to an end. Over these past weeks, we’ve watched friendships grow, confidence bloom, campers get a little dirtier, laugh a little louder, and make memories all across the farm. 🌱🐐💚

We’re soaking up every last laugh, muddy shoe, farm adventure, and hug this week. Thank you to every camper, family, counselor, and friend who made this summer so special.

One last week to make some Farm Camp magic. 💛🌻
