Sean “Diddy” Combs turned Thanksgiving at FCI Fort Dix into an unusually heartfelt moment behind bars, organizing a massive homemade feast for hundreds of inmates. The music mogul partnered with an inmate group called Bankroll Bosses, pooling commissary money and spending two full days preparing food for every housing unit. With no stoves or microwaves, inmates got creative, even using ID cards as knives, and managed to serve around two hundred people per building.

Prisoners say the extra effort made the day feel more like family than lockup. Diddy told TMZ he wanted to lift spirits during a tough time, saying Thanksgiving is about making sure others eat. He talked about the unexpected sense of unity he has found inside Fort Dix, adding that the brotherhood among inmates brings a little bit of home into a dark place.

The holiday goodwill comes as Diddy navigates a rough start to his fifty-month sentence for violating the Mann Act. Reports claimed he drank homemade alcohol during his first week and later took part in a banned three-way phone call. His team has pushed back hard, calling the alcohol story false and insisting he has followed prison rules.

CBS News reported that the three-way call allegedly involved coordinating visitors and adding a second person to the line, which is not allowed in federal facilities. Diddy denied wrongdoing and said he never received the rulebook that explains calling restrictions.

Even with controversy trailing him, the Thanksgiving project stood out as a rare moment of unity inside a federal prison, with inmates describing the mood as warm, positive, and driven by a shared sense of brotherhood.
