We lost Grover on Sunday 2/8/26. He was definitely my little shadow. Its never the same when losing one. They all have their own unique personality. He went home to be with cathy and the rest of the herd(especially skylar). He wasn't the same when he lost her.

2 out of 3 down. I think grover is very relieved he got all these burrs out. They were so bad in his tail, it broke alot of hair. Pictured is hair he lost.

I havent had alot of time to spend with the horses. I just come and feed and have something to get to afterwards. I went on early maternity leave so I have got to spend more time with them. 1 horse down 2 more to go. I absolutely hate burrs!!!!!!!

Forgot to post, August 22, had equine dentist out to farm to do the three horses(Grover, Maggie, and Baby) teeth. Grover had to have 2 teeth pulled😬 he has been doing great with that. Today, September 29, had the farrier out.
Still trying to figure everything out with cathy being gone. It's definitely been hard without her, but i promised her I would take care of them and I'm trying my best.
Also update on goats(Jet and Buck) just noticed yesterday bucks right eye is cloudy😩 think he going blind in it.

Today I can't thank everyone enough for coming out to help clean up the farm. Cleaning buckets, picking up trash and cleaning barn out, putting scrap metal into a nice pile, and even more importantly, brushing the horses and getting burrs out of their mane and tail. Thank you to Maggie Garrison more importantly for getting all these awesome people to come help!!! I couldn't have done it without her. Cathy Shomber I know is very thankful for everything today.
