Well we've been a little busy this week.

Still a lot to do to completely finish the cowshed, especially with both of working and it has been very hot, we will get this finished.

We should be picking our first corn this week!

Time to see who can guess what we are doing....

So we have a new landscape item going up! A few days ago Lee started drilling a few holes in the ground. Between yesterday and today all 7 posts and all the wood for the sides are up.
What's next? 8 more trusses and perlins to put up. Siding to go all the way around. Wooden shutters aka windows. Paint the whole thing .... oh the roof!

We have a little bit to go but once we get our new additions, it will be well worth it for them.

Update on the garden...
Some of the corn is as tall as I am, the corn is starting to beard out (making baby corns), carrots are about a dime in diameter, beats are a lot smaller, the pumpkins have 4 babies on them and a whole lot of blossoms amd I picked two bowls of peas yesterday, The garden in the wall is doing well, picked my first radishes. The rest is growing very well. I fixed the water times and the time of day about 10 days ago for the entire ranch, and everything seems to be doing a LOT better.

Sorry it's been a while since we posted. We lost my mom recently along with her brother, my uncle, and now a cousin on my dad's side isn't expected to live long.
But today we need to celebrate National Egg day!
If you need some amazing farm fresh eggs let us know.
