Our taproom in Moscow, ID for great food and live music. Set above a 10 million acre aquifer that provides some of the coldest and purest water in the entire state, Shattuck Brewery sits nestled among trees and mountains near the town of Elk River, Idaho. Owner and brewmaster Nate Schwartz brews on a custom 10 bbl system and creates ales in the true Northwest fashion. Locally sourced ingredients,

bold flavors, clean water, and emphasis on an ever-evolving line of seasonal and rotational beers that keep the beer lover in all of us trying new flavors and wanting more.

Here it is... the final Friday of August... I'm not getting sappy, you are! Tonight our crew will be at PCEI dishing suds and listening to some tunes if you care to join. Tomorrow we'll have The Zone playing some tasty space rock outside...good times guaranteed.

We will be opening up West late today... at 2pm...so we can complete some projects.

Good Monday morning friends... here's the scoop: due to complex reasons the brewery can no longer be in Elk River, so we will be closing it indefinitely and exploring our options of moving it to Moscow...which will take time. Our taproom, Shattuck West, will remain open and fully operational as normal and will continue selling our brewery beer until it runs out, at which point we will focus on selling suds from other less-represented breweries until our operations can resume in a new facility. Again, this will take time. So, as this transition takes place please don't forget that Shattuck West in Moscow remains fully operational with beers, pizzas, tacos and live music and will be posting a handful of upcoming events in the coming days. I could post some philosophical statement about change, but I'll just leave it with "beer is good!" 🍻✌️ -Sam

A heart felt, sincere THANK YOU to all that helped save the banjo... to those that donated to the cause your benevolence and big hearts are appreciated beyond measure...truly and most sincerely. The hot sauce competition was incredible... and funny as hell! The hip hop boys and dj's did an incredible job. All of the good timing folks that hung out and cultivated a great vibe a special 🤘🍻 goes to you!

Stay tuned for a fall party with big pumpkins and, with any luck, a repaired Gibson Mastertone banjo. Thanks again to every person who spent Saturday with me. -Sam

Saturday is here and indeed there's a fire warning...fire in your mouth due to extreme hot sauces during the 2nd annual hot sauce challenge!!! Tonight is Save The Banjo! Bluegrass, Hip Hop, DJ's and Hot Sauce Competition at West. You're gonna get cultured on a great many spectrums. Forgive me if I'm a wreck after the hot sauce competition...too fun to pass up, too potent to go unscathed. See you there.

What a weekend we have coming up! The Swingin J's shredding on the Whaler Stage on Friday...THEN Saturday we have the whopper! Save The Banjo! Bluegrass, Hip Hop, DJ's and Hot Sauce Competition ...that will be a night of music and hot sauce that will entertain the *!$@ out of you! We hope to see you there and ready for some good times!
