I loved this Basque themed cookie set! If you’re not familiar with the Basque Country or culture I recommend you check it out!
BTW, I love dog cookies! They are definitely a challenge, but I love seeing the end result!

I am quite pleased with how these Mario cookies turned out, but I’ll be honest, character cookies remain one of my biggest struggles! I want to keep them in line with my design aesthetic while giving the customer what they have envisioned. I will admit l, I do rely heavily on other cookiers for inspiration🙈

Posting 4th of July cookies within the same week of the actual holiday is still okay , right?!
I wasn’t able to get a good set of pics with these as I was running out of the house to make it to work on time, but they were too cute to not take pics of!

I thought maybe I should post these graduation before it’s too late!
Also, a small fun fact, and something I enjoyed about designing these cookies. I love typography! I love pairing fonts, discovering fonts, and knowing the power of a well chosen font! I do put a lot of thought into what fonts to use for cookies but it’s one of my favorites in the process!

A long post and availability information below!

HELLO!! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Thanks to .poppin.balloons, I actually did Easter cookies!
Now for some business/real life news! I’m back(ish)! My goal was to be back in my cookie groove in January and well, that didn’t happen. Between the realization that being an ICU nurse is hard mentally, emotionally, physically; a kitchen remodel and the holidays, and covid sucking most of all, I pretty much detached from social media for awhile. So here I am, slowly ready to come back to cookieville and a normal life.
The problem with home projects is the aftermath of messes (mainly my garage and storage room). Every time i approach these spaces anxiety and guilt washes over me and I realize I just can’t pile more responsibilities on right now.
So my availability.....I’m really not sure what I want to take on right now (I know, not really professional). But I just can’t decide how much time I can invest into cookies!?! I will soon post a story about my plans and then put it in my availability highlight. For the time being, if you would like to place an order message me and I will let you know what I can do!
