Breezy is an incredible 5yr large registered APHA smokey black 5 panel negative. She is incredibly sweet with a great disposition and amazing with kids! She has been used in lessons and camps and is a solid, unflappable pony. Breezy recently started over fences and has been to an offsite show. While Breezy is still green, she will be a true packer in no time. Easy enough for advanced beginner to finish with a trainer. Asking 10k.

We are hiring! One of our beloved staff members is off to college soon, so we are looking for someone incredible to fill her shoes. We are hiring a barn assistant to help students groom/tack for their lessons, keep everything running smoothly in the barn, and feed a very small herd!

We are looking for help Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons, take one, two, or all! Hours are 4/4:30-7pm. Additional hours available with camps, feed shifts, and weekend events.

Perfect job for high school or college student with horse expereince! This is a paid position, however, we can also exchange lessons or ride time too!

Pony rides are $10 each and helmets will be provided. Pony rides are available to children 4 and up. Cash or Venmo only!

Rylee and Charm headed to Keystone Acres today for Rylees’ first show! The pair had a lovely dressage test and show jump round landing them fifth 💗 Thank you to Keystone for hosting and VA Eventing for a great morning. Congratulations!!

We are opening 1 more Summer Camp session! We will be adding the week of July 10-14. Camp is 9am-1pm, open to children 4-13, and $375. Campers receive a daily riding lesson, learn about horse care and stable management, and enjoy crafts/water activities throughout the week. Message us for sign up information!

HUGE congratulations to our riders who showed at Gray Horse Farm today! Mother-Daughter duo Ashley and Libby competed which was so special! Congratulations to Ashley for brushing off the dust and competing in her first show as an AA! Libby and Izzy looked lovely in the preshort, and Charlotte and Charm brought home Reseve Champion in the preshort! Congratulations riders, and thank you to Gray Horse Farm for a great day!

We wish this was an April Fools joke, but no lessons or pony ride event today 4/1 due to high winds and impending rain. Lesson students were sent an email with makeup dates. We will be rescheduling our pony ride day to 4/22!

Our beloved assistant will be onto her next adventure in August, and we are starting our search early looking for an amazing individual to fill her shoes. We had an extra special Christmas morning at the stable, wrapping up a pony! Congratulations to the Roths for adding Izzy to their family. Horse ownership is an incredible experience, and Izzy is such a lucky girl!

Virginia Tech just released their safety ratings for riding helmets. These helmets were tested extensively from various heights and different levels of impact before receiving a score. There are several inexpensive options that ranked very well, including number 2!

Virginia Tech Helmet Ratings - Football helmets have been tested to evaluate their ability to reduce brain injury risk.

Today we said goodbye to our sweet Pepper ❤️ Pepper was one of the most patient and kind horses I’ve ever met, and we were so lucky to have her in our barn. She was always surrounded by so many people who loved and cared for her and for that I'm eternally grateful.
