What a day! Tri-Cities rabbits show! Aerith was able to hang out with many of her fellow fair and youth show friends. So we set up our travel carriers and chairs with most of our 4H/show crew! We also saw many of our other friends (some who we saw last weekend at the stevenson show!) Its always great to catch up in between getting rabbits on and off the tables with people both near and far! Thank you to my Dad and sister who came down to support Aerith at her rabbit show!

We also met some amazing new youth we hope to bring into the wonderful hobby of rabbit showing! It was great to talk to them about our rabbits and what got Aerith started into showing rabbits.

Shout out to TCRA for such a great show and all the amazing judges! Congratulations to everyone who won big, won a little bit, maybe didn't do as well as they hoped, or just showed up for support!

Again...I took like no photos...except for a three Generation picture of Leah's Duster, VE/Two Angels Zion and Denali's Ender (Grandsire/Father/Grandson). Three generations of Siamese Sable bucks that have really done well. Aerith was still asleep when I got home and safely parked in my driveway.

Also not pictured is Omega's Pearl Snap. Who has is own little fan club, who are happy to know he is staying here in the PNW! Even though he is shedding worse than my great pyrenees. His cute little face is still out there stealing hearts on and off the table!

I will post show results with the reports, but the notable achievements are:

Zion- BOB Youth
Coco- BOB Youth
Fatty- BOB Youth

Othello fair we had an Adult Showmanship Competition. Ruby Mountains Rocket Man (who launched himself from table to the arms of whomever he chose at random...good thing mom has cat reflexes and can catch him mid launch) and I manged to take home grand champion (he will tell you he did all the hard work...because when you look as good as he does...it is hard work...). He will also insist that all I did was stand there and not allow him to socialize with his lady bun neighbors. It was a lot of fun, with great friends and hard questions!

Unintentionally, both mom and daughter both won Grand Champion and have matching buckles.

Not pictured is when he tried to throw the buckle off the table, because I was taking too long/too many pictures.

I have a few requests for cage tags for those headed to Convention. If you are headed to Convention and are interested please let me know. I can customize with name/rabbitry/phone number. Currently not shipping, must pick up local (Central, WA) before Convention. I have ND silhouettes, and NZ looking one, but no other breeds (yet). I can do simple shapes (oval, square) with a hole for zip tie or clip. Please send me a direct message if interested!

Aerith made the most recent issue of Domestic Rabbit. She Grand Championed 5 Netherlands and her Mini Satin. She also made the list for 5 plus Grand Champions. We still have 5 that we need to send in...sometime soon.

As we are getting ready to enter a new 4H year, we have a few litters planned for Netherlands. However, we also know other very reputable breeders that have other breeds of rabbits, like Himalayan, mini lop, mini satin, Holland lop, dwarf hotot, mini rex, creme d argents, ch*****ne d argents, Californian and new Zealands. We do have a waitlist for those interested in Netherlands (please message me directly).

If you are looking for something different for your kids to show (there are 53 different breeds). There is an American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) Rabbit show in Tri Cities October 10th. A great way to meet breeders, rabbit enthusiasts, and see many different breeds of rabbits and cavies. To see what an ARBA show is like and see to how judges look over, feel and judge rabbits. I will try to post the information here, or you can send me a message.

If you are interested in 4H, please reach out to your local 4H extension office for information on clubs in your area.

We didn't need another buck...but we could not pass up this handsome stud! Staying in the PNW Omega's Pearl Snap! Aerith thinks he will bring a few short comings to some of our does. When we picked him up she did a very thorough check of him and his pedigree and maybe a background check? (Everything checked out)

Excited to get him on the tables, registered and hopefully granded.

Thank you Omega Rabbitry and Tami Bowman for this beautiful buck!

Aerith has some really big goals for this next year with breeding, showing and 4H. She may not achieve them all, but I think she will do well!
