Jim's Pumpkin Patch and U-Pick flowers is now closed for the 2022 season. My pumpkin inventory has been completely depleted by strong consumer demand for pumpkins together with a short pumpkin crop caused by the tough 2022 growing season. Jack Frost visited the flower garden Saturday PM / Sunday AM. There was significant frost damage to the flowers and recovery is considered very unlikely this season.
I cannot properly express my gratitude to all those children, families, individuals and businesses that visited the "Sand Box" and made this season a success and FILLED MY HEART WITH HAPPINESS. The pumpkin sales were greater than expected. We questioned adding flowers sales to the pumpkins. Flowers were a big winner and sold seamlessly alongside the pumpkins.
Jim's Garden will be back in 2023 at the "Sand Box" and the Moses Lake Farmers Market provided the good Lord is kind to these old bones. I heard the cries of my old customers and plan to reincorporate cabbage, broccoli, lg green peppers, lg Jalapenos, Anaheims, Poblanos, Chillis, Shish*tos, watermelons and melons back into the Sand Box rotation. It is our intention to continue selling flower bouquets and produce at the Farmers Market. Hopefully we can figure out how to work U-Pick flowers saales into the Sand Box. THANK YOU ALL!
