Pick your own fresh ripe cherries at the sunny east end of the Gorge. Come and pick a few pounds for yourself or a few hundred pounds for everyone you know. Or just come out and bring a picnic lunch to eat under the trees and take in the beautiful view of the Mosier Valley.

It's outside but farmer Philip is out mowing and Ezekiel is out clipping the "sucker trees" 'Sucker Trees" the grow up from the roots. As most of you know , cherry trees are grafted meaning the roots are one flavor of tree and the top fruit wood is another flavor of tree. This is done when the trees are very young and the graft is just a few inches above the ground when we plant them at our farm. We don't want the root trees because their fruit is not our plan.
