📚 Moss Point Native Returns Home for Book Signing Event

The Moss Point High School Alumni community is invited to join MPHS Class of 1980 graduate, Abbie P. Huckleby, for a special book signing event on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

Abbie's new book, Faith, Favor, and Funding, shares her personal journey from leaving college due to financial challenges to helping her daughters graduate college with little to no student loan debt through scholarships, planning, perseverance, and faith.

Today, she continues to help students and families navigate the scholarship process while serving as President of the MPHS Class of 1980 Scholarship Committee.

As part of our 125th Anniversary River Jamboree 2026, we’re celebrating Daniel Stallworth and calling all performers to step up and show what you’ve got! From middle school students to adults, this is your chance to shine in front of the community!

• Performances are 45 seconds to 1 minute
• Two rounds of competition
• Final round features the Top 3 contestants
