This lamb shoulder roast was AMAZING!! It was fall off the bone tender and super flavorful! I will comment the recipe link below although I didn’t exactly follow it.

The recipe called for a very tiny amount of salt so I used way more, maybe around 1 TBS of kosher salt. I was in a hurry so it didn’t marinate and I just threw the herbs on top. I probably used abound 10 cloves of garlic that I sliced and shoved into slits I cut in the meat. I didn’t use any oil either and it was done in about 9 hours instead of 12. I don’t think it could have been any more tender.

So delicious!!😋

Tonight’s supper was a new recipe for us, lamb loaf, and it was delicious! Pictures of meatloafs rarely look appetizing to me so you will have to take my word for it or try it yourself. It won the approval of Jewelianna!

1/2 teaspoon oil

2 slices dry bread, diced

½ teaspoon vegetable oil, or as needed

¼ cup milk

1 pound ground lamb

1 egg

4 cloves minced garlic

2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed

¾ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

¼ cup tomato sauce

5 leaves fresh mint, finely chopped

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Oil pan and set aside. Preheat oven to 400. Soak bread pieces in milk. Mix all ingredients except for tomato sauce, mint and balsamic vinegar. Form into a loaf then mix sauce and mint leaves. Pour over loaf. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Bake for 35-45 min.

Tonight’s supper: Lamb Chops!

6 lamb chops
Salt and pepper to season
2 tbsp oil to fry (I use avocado oil)
For the marinade
1 tbsp fresh thyme
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp fresh rosemary
½ tbsp fresh mint
2 garlic cloves
4 tbsp oil (I use avocado oil)
lemon wedges to serve

Salt and pepper both sides of the lamb chops. Mix up the marinade. I like to use a small food processor. And I don’t use those exact measurements…measure with your heart.😉 Coat both sides of meat in marinade and let sit for at least 20 min. Heat up pan with oil. Fry both sides to desired doneness (maybe 3-4 min each side) Squeeze a little fresh lemon when done and voila! Devine!!

Welcome! My husband and I started a family business with our two daughters raising 100% grass finished beef and lamb. Our purpose in this family business is to provide healthy, delicious beef and lamb while teaching our homeschooled daughters how to properly care for the animals as well as teaching them entrepreneurship and basics in business. As foodies we love good tasting meat! We grow our beef to 3-4 years rather than the typical 2 years so they are well filled out and better tasting! This creates better marbling and flavor while still getting the health benefits of 100% grass finished beef! We also raise wool and hair sheep. Wool sheep tend to have a gamey taste while hair sheep are much more mild in flavor. The lanolin in the wool is what gives it the gamey taste while the hair sheep do not have lanolin. If you think you don’t like lamb, you need to try meat from a hair sheep! Thank you for visiting our page and we hope you will consider our beef and lamb to stock your freezer!
