Right now weāre working with Clarabel, our Guernsey, to help her get comfortable with a routine that will eventually become her milking schedule.
Twice a day we separate her from the herd, give her a little grain, and spend some time together before letting her back in the pasture. The goal isnāt just the graināitās building positive associations and making the process feel familiar long before sheās ever in a milking stanchion.
Farm life is often less about big milestones and more about these small, consistent moments.
