Our condolences to Allison & Ivy on the loss of their sweet boy Carson. We’ve had the pleasure of this boy’s company for almost a decade. I am thankful for getting to have him teach lesson the last several years. I always started out by telling each rider at the beginning of their first lesson on him, “he will ALWAYS jump. And he won’t care about any mistake you make.” How rare that is. 💜 Thank you for sharing him, we are all very sorry.

Last Saturday we got up early to beat the heat for Friday Night Lights Flying Change Farm

The girls all rode great in the .65 jumpers and got very good ribbons. Looking forward to the last one of the series on Sept 11th!

I am way behind on show posts!

The first week of August these 2 girls got to go to WEC to show. It was Loghan’s first rated show & Elizabeth’s second.

The girls and their special ponies were fantastic. The facility is impressive even when rated shows aren’t new to you! The girls settled their nerves quickly and were very competitive in all their classes! It was a fun successful trip!

Baby has learned that water is great!! Stands just as good as some of our big horses. It’s so easy to introduce things to them when they’re this young by just doing things to them while you do things to their mom.

Last weekend, we took a small group to Summerfest II in Claremore. We had a great time and nice weather!

Sawyer hopped aboard the incomparable Toodles whom she had never jumped, and competed in the crossbar division. They earned great ribbons and she improved every time in the ring.

Charlotte and Atlas had a great weekend in the Beginners! They won their eq over, and were 2nd in their eq flat and the OHJA Beginner Medal.

Wren & Charm clocked around the Intermediates, and got good ribbons in their division. This pair is improving each time out.

Loghan & Noah showed in the very lows on Saturday to prep for their trip to WEC. They won one of their rounds and are ready to rock and roll in Ohio!

One of the services we provide is rehabilitation/recovery. This little guy had a little bit of a rough start but he’s on his way to being a big healthy boy. He and his mom have come to stay with us for a little while. We’re so excited to help him grow up! He and his mom are hanging out in one of our 12x18 stalls. Boarders-please be quiet and don’t crowd them while they get settled in!!

It’s supposed to be very hot this week. I do not plan to teach the evening lessons this week. I will do make up lessons on Saturday am for those that can. Please let me know if you’d like one. There will be not hacking in the evening this week either!
