Thankful for good neighbors and Bottomley’s letting me and another farmer glean from their land. Winter rye grass is scheduled to be plowed under and due to drought and frost, our hay crop is in question. Harvesting this puts a lot of cushion in two small farmers operation.

A little video of Fernando in the head gate. Bison squeeze chutes have a crash gate to stop them. Then you can catch them in the head gate. The crash gate is open during the video.

Great day to vaccinate and deworm the bison. No humans or bison were hurt today Thank God. Thank you to my dedicated team of friends that came out to help. Also, not a single bison refused their vaccines or deworming. Keeping the herd healthy.

Upon hearing a bison produce a deep growl and raise its tail, one would be well-advised to either already be fleeing the scene or safely situated in a substantial fertilizer spreader truck. The bison displayed marked discontent towards the aforementioned vehicle. Video by Michael Windsor
