The First picture is of our Granddaughter Audree bottle feeding one of our Bull Calves named Prince. The Second picture is of our Granddaughter Paisley bottle feeding one of our Bull calves named Joe. The only difference in theses pictures is the girls were around the same age only about 10 yrs different. We are so proud of both theses girls for learning how too live on a farm an understanding cattle. As Both their Moms did. God has Blessed us enough to have what little we have but more so to teach our children and Grandchildren the way of Farming Thank you Lord

✨Exciting News Coming in!!!✨

Wow! What a day!! So you all remember our cow jersey?? Well today was the day she decided to have her baby!!❤️ This morning we knew something was up because she took off when it was feeding time and was pretty far away from everyone, so Brad & Mama coached her back to the barn a little later and got her secure inside and it was no time after that she started her labor process! We watched and waited for a while then she started to get the legs out, well Jersey girl had alittle trouble so we called in extra farm hands and Luckily both mama and baby are doing just fine! Thank the good lord for blessing us with another heifer named Posey!💋

Huge shoutout to Brad and Mama and Ethan for helping with jersey girl & Posey!

And an even bigger shoutout to our farm expert Melissa Stevens for delivering posey into this world safe & sound! 🎀

Alright Everyone, Next up is….❓
Penny!🐂
This sweet, funny calf is a Brahman/ PBR breed! She was born March 31 of 2025! 📅 As you can tell she is quite the character! She stays in the small pasture we have made for our calfs that get to big for the barns with her sister Polly!❤️ They are not true sisters but have been together since they was little babies! Penny loves to be petted under the neck and around her horns! She will also chase you while jumping and bucking around if you bring a four wheeler in their pasture to clean stuff up! 🧽 Penny is not as big of a fan of crackers as her sister but will still eat some if she feeling up to it!💁🏻‍♀️ Penny definitely keeps us on our toes & brings some light on the cloudiest days! We are beyond grateful for our sweet girl!💋

Everyone let’s welcome Polly!❤️
This sweet girl is a full Brahman who was born on May 15, 2025📆 Polly is the absolute sweetest calf you will meet! She loves to be rubbed and brushed, especially on her neck!🪮 Polly likes to follow you around and give you head butts just to remind you to pet her before you leave! She won’t let you forget, that’s for sure!🤌🏻 Her addiction to peanut butter crackers is unrivaled!🥜 If you have the any where near her I promise you she will sniff them out and you can lead her anywhere! Polly is one of the farm favorites! We definitely love this sweet girl and she’s a perfect addition to the farm!🐂

 Here comes some for about Breeding Age: While they can be bred as early as 18 months, many producers prefer to start breeding them closer to 24 months, with cows remaining productive for a very long time! 🐂✨

‼️You guys want to know what H&H farms has been up to❓❓

Well over the last couple of days we have added to the farm…Guess what it is???🧐

BABY CHICKS!!!🐤 🐥🐣

That’s right, We are adding 6 chickens to the farm and I personally could not be more excited!!🤩

So let’s introduce them…
The red chicks you will see are Rhode Island Red & The purple ones are Lavender Orpington!(these are rare!) btw, our 4 kids & my husband named them!🤷🏻‍♀️

First off we have:
1. Sprinkles, ✨She is a lavender chick with a black beck!
2. Jazz, 🤩she is also a lavender chick with a white beck!
3.Chickaletta, 🐥She is a Rhode Island, it’s a little harder to tell her apart from her sister but she has a lighter head
4.Hey Hey, 🌊 She is also a Rhode Island with a darker head!
5. Gnocchi, 🥟She is a Rhode Island Red with a heart and a larger black circle on her head
6. Last but not least is Nugget! 🍗She also is a Rhode Island Red with a single heart on her head!

💋Everyone it’s time to meet Jersey Girl!
This Jersey cow is full Jersey and she was born in 2023!📆 She is actually expecting her first calf anyday now!! How exciting is that!!🤩 ( We think she is holding it hostage!📦🚫) Jersey girl tends to stay to herself a lot mostly because she is expecting her first calf so she has secluded herself from the rest of the herd for now, she’s just preparing herself to have a beautiful baby! 🐂 Jersey girl is absolutely beautiful and very strong headed! Sometimes she will get a sniff in and you can boop the nose but not very often!🙂‍↔️ We hope she has a safe delivery & can’t wait too see this beautiful baby she adds to the herd!❤️💋
