A journey into the country. A place where customers know where their food comes from and how it was raised. Turner Mountain Plantation is a family owned and operated beef cattle farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains about seven miles south east of Mount Airy, NC. With a focus on quality genetics, regenerative farming and animal welfare we are able create a program that works for both t

he cattleman and consumer. Our livestock are born and raised on pasture, consume a forage-based diet and clean water their entire lives and in turn provide a healthy, wholesome food product. Today our growth is driven by our children’s increased involvement on the family farm and our community’s support and desire to know where their food comes from. Our promise is to always provide a transparent farming operation from start to finish.

Stewardship.

This morning was spent mowing trails, reclaiming food plot areas, checking the creek, and seeing signs that the wildlife is using what we’re working to build.

The best part?

I got to do it all on Pa’s tractor.

He would have turned 91 this past Sunday.

Turner Mountain Plantation is a lifelong project. One we’re building for our family to enjoy God’s creation and, Lord willing, someday share with others.
