A place where customers know where their food comes from and how it was raised. Turner Mountain Plantation is a family owned and operated beef cattle farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains about seven miles south east of Mount Airy, NC. With a focus on quality genetics, regenerative farming and animal welfare we are able create a program that works for both the cattleman and consumer. O

ur livestock are born and raised on pasture, consume a forage-based diet and clean water their entire lives and in turn provide a healthy, wholesome food product. Today our growth is driven by our children’s increased involvement on the family farm and our community’s support and desire to know where their food comes from. Our promise is to always provide a transparent farming operation from start to finish.

A little unexpected excitement yesterday finding not one but two new bull calves arrived at Turner Mountain Plantation! We love the easy calving, hybrid vigor of our Red Angus and Simmental cross cattle. Both of these little guys hit the ground running and their momma’s are taking good care of them.
