About a year ago, my wife, Lynne, purchased worm castings for her garden. I don’t think that I had ever heard of worm castings, and certainly did not know how they benefited the garden. After I found out how much they cost. I wanted to know the cost the benefit ratio.
So I did a lot of research. I was more than surprised at what I was learning. I had no idea what an impact the lowly worm is making. To give you a personal example, my household will keep 2000 pounds of waste out of the landfill this year that I will feed to the worms to produce castings.
