💐About us and the history of Blumenfeld Flower stand!💐

Thank you for following our journey so far, we are Matt & Emma - owners of the flower stand!

Emma grows the flowers and Matt is the mechanical genius behind the scenes.

I started growing flowers for our wedding and have been obsessed ever since!

Blumenfeld means flower field in German - inspired by our German roots and Mount Angel history.

2024 we stared with a canopy and a potting table.

2025 Matt built the flower stand. And we sold dahlia tubers and bouquets.

2026 we sold even more tubers and are in the middle of our bouquet season now!

🐞We are a self-serve stand, so we thank you for your continued honesty! Payment options include Cash or Venmo.

🌿Everything is grown without pesticides, and only natural fertilizers.

I'm not saying we're fully open yet, but I'll be starting to pop a couple bouquets in the stand as the flowers allow! 2 moody bouquets in the stand today Friday 8-7.

My secret - natural, pesticide-free, and re-usable method to keep bugs out of my dahlia blooms!

Organza bags! Or those little craft bags used for trinkets or gifts. Found at most craft stores or online.

Cheap, effective, and easy!!

Our lovely customers and friends have been asking us! When are bouquets ready? 💐 We so appreciate the excitement!

We mostly only grow dahlias, so that really limits our timing of flowers. Dahlias bloom August-October.

BUT we have been working hard this spring and early summer to plant more flowering plants that come back every year (perennials).

So in the future we hope to extend our bouquet season! Lavender bundles are also on the horizon.

🌱Plants take time to grow, so for now we'll have to wait until August to have bouquets for you!

We'll keep you updated on our progress! Thanks for following along!
