Congratulations and thank you to all that have had a hand in this special creature. From the first day this one was special and incredibly easy to find every morning during chores.

This barrow is a repeat mating of the litter that produced Watch This that we sold off the farm to Upperhand who is off to a hot start and Gillespie’s Grand Spot at NJSS so we knew the sky was the limit here! The dam, 49-1, has quickly cemented her place as front pen kind here in Mount Ayr and plan is for her to farrow another full sib litter to these perfect for Texas majors!

Special thanks to Kaleb and the entire crew for trusting in the crew here at TSP for many years to get to the biggest backdrops .

Say it ain’t so!

We couldn’t be more excited to kick off the Hereford chapter at TSP! We’ve always tossed around the idea of adding a change of pace here but with our oldest son absolutely loving them we knew it was time. While the hunt for our foundation sow took longer than anticipated, we knew when the Orem gilt walked through the gate in Springfield that she was Mount Ayr, Iowa bound. Eventually being named champion gilt and High selling Hereford gilt that day we knew we had found our foundation.

While obviously being extremely new at raising them we are wildly confident in this litter. Unreal build, balance, and feature the sky truly is the limit here.

For appraisal Wednesday night. Let’s get this party started in the herf division!

Special shout out to everyone who has been a part of our success thus far this spring!

With that said our online sale for this week on showpig.com has been cancelled and we will host our next sale 2/25 with an absolute killer set of January pigs!
