Beech Hill Farm Beech Hill Farm is a working farm growing certified organic vegetables for College of the Atlantic and the wider community.

The farm serves as a living laboratory where students and faculty engage with agriculture as a central concern of human ecology. Beech Hill Farm produces certified organic food for the College of the Atlantic and Mount Desert Island community through sustainable farming practices supporting healthy lifestyles and biodiversity. We have a CSA and an on-site Farm Stand, open June through October. Our organic produce is also sold to markets and restaurants around Mount Desert Island.

Please join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating and expanding access to local, organic food

On Friday, July 17, 2026, guests will gather at College of the Atlantic Beech Hill Farm for an evening in support of food security on Mount Desert Island.

The evening begins with a reception featuring drinks and appetizers, followed by a three-course dinner by Havana restaurant. Wine pairings will be served with dinner. A James Beard semifinalist owned by a COA alumnus, Havana is known for its commitment to local sourcing and seasonality.
