The snow won this weekend! It looks like we received at least 10" on Saturday.

We have shifted most everything by one week so our Wilmington Meat-Up will be next Sunday, 2/8, 1-3pm. We will keep taking orders through Wednesday this week. Mint Hill will be on Sunday, 2/15, 4-5pm.

This coming weekend will be our last in Building C at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market. We will be moving to Building A on 2/14.

The more I look at this picture, the more I like it. Rested from 4/15-9/29, we are leaving plenty of lignified litter for long term soil feeding and even though the warm season grasses (mostly Vasey's grass here) are past their prime, the cows are doing well and gaining as we go. We are only at ~160,000 lb/acre here and feels right for our context.

This is a Mashona bull from the Florida herd was endorsed personally by Elizondo and is working out pretty well. This is our first year using him so it will be a while before we know what he produces but expectations are high.
