Eggs never sat around for several weeks, in order to peel them easily. They flew out of the fridge, faster than the girls could lay them. Needless to say, I found myself buying store bought eggs, just to hard boil. Give this method a try, I know I will!!!! ;)

Secret revealed to perfectly peel boiled farm fresh eggs! Yes, it's true. I don't have a problem peeling my boiled farm fresh eggs so I set out to see why I don't when so many others do. Read along to see what I found.

As surgery awaits me, 9 days from now, I find myself pulling kids off the mom to bottle feed and tube feed the doeling. Rainbow's kids were exceptionally large this year and spraddle legged. Hoping to get them up and strong again and re-attatched to mom. While there is no ability to bring someone in here 2x day to milk, there surely isn't anyone able to bottle feed 3x day. Praying they gain strength and Rainbow reclaims her babies. While Rainy did a sneaky job of going into labor somewhat unexpectedly, she did bless me with 2 huge kids. However, this was not the year to have kidding problems. Thank goodness for the amazing Tube Feeding article I ripped from a magazine eons ago! Lifesaver! 9 years into goats, and I finally had the courage to tube feed one. Despair. Faith. Love. This is what goats show you.

Our herd matriarch just delivered a healthy set of nice sized twins. Buck and a doe. Considering retiring her, as this delivery seemed difficult for her. Kid count now at 8. Market wether phone calls will be made soon. ;)
