Today we said goodbye to our dear 'Mama' dog. From the day we rescued her and her 4, beautiful nursing puppies, she has been an integral part of our lives, our farm and our pack.

Our great 'protectress', part Great Pyrenees / part Labrador, each night she proudly and purposefully 'walked protection' of our property and home.

From fearlessly fighting off coyotes and wild pigs to gently charming our guests, she never wavered in her devotion to her family - no other dogs were ever harmed 'on her watch'.

Her gently maternal, loving presence will be missed. We love you, Mama ... ❤️❤️❤️
