Well here is what's going on at Holly Star Farm/Rescue. Since we started the rescue, we have found homes for 12 dogs/ puppies. We have found homes for 14 kittens/cats. I'm so thankful for each and every family that took a fur baby into their home. Along the way we were foster failures to 3. One kitty cat came here as a stray. Walked into the kitchen and rolled on her back for a belly rub. She follows me all over the tiny farm and helps me get the chickens and turkeys in. She sits in our lap. So she is staying, she found her home, and we call her Annie. And we rescued a little corgi/ border collie, and he stole my heart from day one. He is a butterball and so very short, just like me. He's full of energy and so sweet. Also this little baby is so brave and not scared of anything, he gives all the cats and dogs a run for their money. He thinks he is so big. We call him Little Bitty. And Boone the kitty that Doc rescued on the main highway is definitely staying. Boone is very tiny and vey attached to Doc, its like he knows he was rescued, and he is the most tiniest cat I ever did see! And then we have Noah. Noah is a Great Pyrenees/border collie. He loves outside and he is full of energy and has to have attention 24/7. I'm not sure yet if he will be staying yet. He loves outside so much and wants to be the only dog, and is not liking all the other animals here, so we are still condidering a perfect home for him, because he will never be the only fur baby here, and we will always have a lot of fur babies coming and going. We are so very thankful to God we can have this rescue and all the families that have taken fur babies into their family. But we are still sad that these babies become homeless in the first place. So sad!!! And as for Cooper, Sadie, George, Cricket, Heidi, Bear, Jessie and Wiley, they are happy, warm and having a great life. And all the chickens, turkeys, and guinea hens are laying eggs and loving the farm, and getting spoiled rotten. And our cats, Piper, Pumpkin, Callie, Tilly, Gus, and Boone love their life and are enjoying being outside and checking out everything on the tiny farm. Everybody gets along. And as far as Cricket, she wasn't pregnant after all, just fat...well Doc says she's all muscle..HA!!! But soon, as soon as Wiley is old enough, they will get married and have babies. So that's it in a nutshell. Merry Christmas to all!!! We hope you have the most beautiful Christmas and hope you all will know Jesus in your heart and that is the very reason for Christmas, and know the peace and joy that comes with knowing Jesus. Love and peace to all!!!
