Duskin's Farm

Duskin's Farm Our farm is a family run operation. We are producing high quality products based on sustainable and organic practices including hydroponics.

We offer a CSA program currently for 10 shares which includes 30 weeks a year of fresh produce ranging from seasonal vegetables like squash, tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, beets, radishes, carrots, potatoes, sweet peppers, hot peppers, zucchini, okra, and several other trial vegetables and some fruits. Along with produce a dozen of farm fresh free range chicken eggs are included and loaf bread. The f

arm also has 100+ chickens including Pure Bred Americana Chickens (blue/green/pink eggs), Yorkshire Hogs, Ducks, and soon to be pygmy goats and beef cattle. The largest operation of the farm is in the final start off stages which will consist of Hydroponics. 18' by 48' Green houses will be setup to house a hydroponic system for herbs, salad greens, vegetables, and some fruits. In 2012 the farm saved 84,000lbs of waste to the landfill from local areas and in 2013 the farm saved 98,000lbs of waste from the area's landfill.

If you could raise a few hens at your house what would you considered to be enough? Too many? Or just the right amount?
