Our girls love having baby chicks around! 🐣🐓

After a rough couple days, we added some new chicks to the farm! We currently have around 30 chickens but lost several this past week due to an unwanted predator. We are looking forward to raising these little ones and adding them to the KBA Farm 🤍

Some of our favorite evenings are spent right here.

The girls helping scoop feed, Dad making the rounds with the pigs, and baby sister tagging along for the adventure. Farm chores aren’t always glamorous, but they’re filled with lessons, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

These little hands are learning responsibility, hard work, and where their food comes from—one bucket of feed at a time.

Back to where it all started… 🐷❤️

Meet Rainbow Bingo and Moo Moo — the pigs that started KBA Farm.

Our oldest daughter, Kennedy, absolutely loves the Shenandoah County Fair. One year, she participated in the Pig Scramble, and much to our surprise, she caught a pig! We had no idea we’d be heading home with a pig that day, but that’s exactly what happened.

Not long after, a good friend offered us their pig because they no longer had a place to keep him. Just like that, Rainbow Bingo and Moo Moo became the foundation of what would eventually grow into KBA Farm.

Rainbow Bingo has since made her way to our freezer, providing pork for our family. Moo Moo, on the other hand, is still here and remains a huge part of our farm. As our boar, he has helped produce 24 piglets and is currently estimated to weigh between 500–600 pounds!

Moo Moo has become more than just a farm animal—he’s part of the family. Watching the girls help care for him and seeing how much they love him has been one of the best parts of this journey.

Who would have thought one pig scramble would lead us here? 🐽🌾

👋 Welcome to KBA Farms LLC!

We thought we’d take a moment to introduce ourselves. We’re Jeremy and Danielle Lonas the family behind KBA Farms LLC. Together with our three children, we’re building a life centered around faith, family, hard work, and agriculture.

Outside of the farm, I work as a teacher in our local school division, and Jeremy serves as a firefighter for Prince William County. While our careers keep us busy, farming has become a passion that brings our family together and teaches our children the value of responsibility, dedication, and caring for animals.

Believe it or not, our pig farming journey started with our oldest daughter at the county fair. She caught a pig during the pig scramble, and what started as a fun experience quickly turned into something much bigger. We fell in love with having pigs around and enjoyed learning everything we could about raising them. Before long, one pig turned into several, and KBA Farms was born.

Today, we raise pigs for freezer pork, providing families with quality, locally raised pork they can feel good about serving at their tables. We also offer fresh farm eggs and take orders for homemade sourdough bread.

Our goal is simple: to provide wholesome food for our community while raising our children with the values that farming teaches every day. We are grateful for everyone who supports our small family farm and follows along on this journey with us.
