Wolcott Orchard

Wolcott Orchard Revitalizing the orchard; as of 2020 we are still closed. We are considering wholesale for the future. *Honey & applewood available for sale now.

We bought the old orchard to expand our Apiary. Right now we have either side of 10 honeybee hives at the orchard. We have a lot of work on our hands, bringing the property back into use as anything resembling an orchard. The trees were not trimmed for years, or used for years, for that matter. Fall 2017, the old diseased trees were removed, to make way for a fresh start over the past 3 years. Ad

ditionally, we are working to turn the orchard into a permaculture farm/orchard. Our dream for the orchard space is for something to bloom from first of spring until the snow comes, allowing food sources for the honeybees all year long. It will one day be even more beautiful at the orchard than it ever was in the past.

The orchard's MAEAP sign was finally delivered and installed today! (We are still not open, but this is exciting because it took MAEAP almost 5 years to follow through on this sign. Yikes!)
